Why Are We Content With the Contrived and the Mediocre?

Starting something new can always be scary at first. You get those butterflies in your stomach, the wonder if you’re really doing the right thing and all the ‘what if’s’ at once.

Everything from:

• New relationships

• Marriage

• Friendships

• Starting Families

• New Jobs

• Moving

• Starting a Business

• Trying to Wear Makeup (When you normally don’t)

• Or Making Changes to Your Appearance.

These can all create stress within us. Which is probably why so many people stray away from doing these things if they can.

Most of us are content with the contrived and the mediocre.

We are supposed to change and grow. Isn’t that the point of life? Yet, we all try our very best to stay in the little bubble we’ve come to know and love.

I often wonder why we are this way. Shouldn’t we want for different and better ways of life? Shouldn’t we want to grow as people and enjoy the fruits that life has to offer us?

In fact, many people will sit around and complain that their life isn’t the way we want it to be but not do anything about it.

One person will complain about their weight but will not go on a diet or join a gym. One will get stressed out constantly about their job but refuse to look for other employment. Some have amazing skills in certain areas but are terrified to take the leap to use it to their advantage.

We should take advantage of all the opportunities at our disposal.

Anyone can change their life with just a few choices.

Yet, we’re all complaining about our woes and continuing to go down the same path.

Where does it end? When do we get to the point where enough is enough?

TODAY!

Today is the day people! Take chances, get messy and make some mistakes!

You’ll feel better once you have!

Yes, it will be scary. The unknown always is, but in the end… those ‘what if’s’ you were asking yourself will be gone and a new life will take its place!
