What If Struggles Didn't Exsist?
Struggle. That word hits us all like a ton of bricks that have fallen from a skyscraper. No one in their right mind wishes to ever struggle.
Financially, physically or mentally. We all wish that struggling wasn't a possibility.
People do their best to counteract struggles they may face. Whether by planning ahead or creating a safety net in some way. We know it's always there. Like the bad kid in the back of the classroom shooting spit balls at you.
For the day it can come and turn your whole world into a tornado.
What if we forgot that possibility existed? What if we could pluck it out of spacetime and erase it from the equation completely?
Would our lives be different?
Would we handle certain situations differently if we knew for a fact that we would not run into struggles?
I believe we would.
We are creatures of habit. We know what works for us and what doesn't, we know what we can and can't handle and we understand cause and effect.
If there was no way for us to cause struggle... of course we would change some of the things we do and say.
Thousands would choose to follow their dreams. If there's no worry of financial struggle... why not? Many will get married or get divorced. If there's no worry of mental struggle... why not?
Do you see where I'm going with this?
Although we'd like to give the impression that every decision, we face has an easy answer, it does not. We choose to stay at jobs we hate, in relationships that are not worthwhile and living in areas we dislike - all because we're concerned of the struggles, we may face with making drastic changes.
So, today I'd like to propose a suggestion. Close your eyes for a moment and think about what you would do if you had no worry of struggle.
Would you go back to school?
Would you move to a new state?
Would you get married to your spouse?
Would you leave a spouse?
Would you start a new career?
Would you start a home-based business?
Do you have your idea?
Now, if you have these goals and ambitions, and the only thing that is holding you back is the possible struggle that could come from them. Why not get a plan of action, or a safety net in place so that you may begin those journeys now?
Do not let the possibility of struggle stand in your way! There is always light at the end of the tunnel!
I am rooting for you!
-- Until next time everyone!
