I found a new water bottle last week and I have fallen in love with it. Although, it has been a bit demanding.
You see, water bottles & tumblers have been a go to purchase over the past couple of years. I have noticed more and more people have them no matter where they are. Taking their tumblers on their Saturday shopping trips, keeping a water bottle available at all times at work, and now, even my children’s school has requested I send my children with a water bottle each day. So of course, I jumped upon that bandwagon.
Most recently I purchased a Enerbone sports water bottle from Amazon. I was interested in the bright color options, the way it provided me drinking times and the ounces of water I would be taking in.
So far, it has helped me focus on drinking 8 oz of water every hour to keep with my goal of drinking more water and living a healthier lifestyle.
I’d be lying if I didn’t state that it also makes me feel better about myself. With positive reinforcement phrases on the bottle like, “You’ve got it” and “Never give up!” — I find that it has helped me challenge myself into getting it done.
I have successfully drunk 2 full bottles a day which is 64 oz of water intake, for the past five days. I have found myself getting more active and engaged. It has even seemed to help me through a stomach virus that my family has been playing ping pong with this week.
While researching the benefits of taking in 64 oz of water a day, I found an article written by a Mrs. Paramita Retno back in 2017. I found that some benefits are,
protecting your organs
assists in weight loss
Improves your mood
Among various other positives, these were the most interesting to me. I knew that drinking water assisted in hydration, clearing your kidneys and aided brain function but I never would have guessed the other aspects.
