My heart beats rapidly, with the rise and set of the sun. I used to think the storybooks, only advised this feeling for fun.

Then I met you, and the world stood still. I quick break of my barriers, the shake of my will.

At first, I was frightened, not knowing the status quo. You took my hand knowing, just where our life would go.

Eight years later, You’re still here by my side. This amazing human being, bursting with pride.

Now my fear has shifted, to the thought of losing you. Although it fades a bit each day, with everything you do.

I’m excited for the future, what it holds for us my dear. I used to worry and wonder, but your love has made it clear.

We are destined for greatness, better than any fairytale. I’m eager to watch, as the pages of our lives unveil.
