How I Created & Published My First Ebook on Gumroad for Free
For a few months now, I have been contemplating creating and selling Ebooks on Gumroad. I have seen many individuals that have great success with this process.
At first, I was skeptical because that is a lot of work to possibly end up with zilch.
However, I was incorrect. It took far less time than I anticipated!
I posted the book at 5pm and I’ve already received a sale! (Within 5 minutes of posting, and I haven’t even shared it on my platforms yet)
Well, until now that is.
Anyway. I am writing you amazing individuals about this for two reasons.

Now for the fun part! How I did it in a short time without spending a cent!
First, I started searching through different websites and YouTube videos about the best possible Niche’s to use when creating an ebook. Ultimately, I ended up going with something I am passionate about.
I went onto Canva.com website to create my ebook. This website allows you to create content on the free portion of their site. There is an option to pay $15 a month to have more options within the site, but the free version works well enough.
I made sure to add all the information I wished to be present within the Ebook as well as the cover I wanted to represent.
Once I was satisfied with my creation, I saved the book as a PDF file.
I headed over to gumroad.com.
I was required to create an account. (You must verify your email before you can publish your product.)
Then I chose products and New Product.
I added my cover photo, the title of my book and my description.
Next, I uploaded my PDF file. and chose my desired price for the product and chose PUBLISH.
That’s… it….
If you’re wondering how I got a sale so quickly… that I cannot answer. However, I am in no way complaining.
