Happy Halloween! We Have Been Having A Blast!
Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays of all time! This year, my husband and I were able to paint the town beige while our little one's did the same!
This weekend has been so amazing! Derrek and I went out to a Halloween party yesterday where we dressed up as Team Rocket from the television show Pokémon. I was so thrilled because I was able to get everything to make the costumes at almost no cost.
Altogether, I spent $99 on 8 costumes.
I was super stoked about it. I purchased shirts for each of the family members and iron on vinal to make cuts of the letter S so that our entire family can go as Skittles.
I got Derrek white pants and myself a white skirt. Then two white shirts that I cut and ironed a large Red R on them to match the characters.
I love creating costumes this way. It’s such a wonderful experience to create things with the whole family and make it an event.
Here soon, Lillian and I are going to start creating things like that for gifts! She’s so excited!
Anyway — during our party, our children were out with my best friend Taylor Michael and her spouse… They housed 17 children for the evening and went to a trunk or treat. The children had an amazing time! They got to play outside, get candy, eat pizza and wake up with donuts and games.
Yes… they sugared them up and sent them home…
Derrek and I haven’t been able to go out like that in almost two years and it was such fun. I am so happy that we were able to enjoy the company of others, make some new friends and let our children do the same!
