DIY Family Halloween Costumes: Help Us Pick Our Poison This Year
In honor of the spooky holiday, I thought I would get a poll going to see what you all thought about our family costume ideas.
Here’s how it will work:
I am going to place all of our current ideas for our family costumes.
You will comment with the idea you like the best.
You can suggest other costume ideas to add to the list if you’d like.
On October 21st I will post an article advising what idea got the most votes and will be the costumes we wear this year.
Don’t worry, it’s all in good fun and my husband has confirmed that he will participate with all of the ideas we already have.
All of these ideas are DIY costume options. I’d rather make them than purchase them to wear for one day.
Let’s get started:
Idea 1 — Crayons:
We have a family of six and would each go as a different crayon. Then, the stroller that our youngest sits in will be make shifted into the Crayola box.
Idea 2- Harry Potter:
Our group would consist of Dumbledore, McGonigal, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Dobby. I have the wands to accommodate all parties and I feel like this would be a fun project.
Idea 3 — PacMan
Derrek and I would me Mr and Mrs PacMan and our four littles would be the colored ghosts. It’s accurate since we’ll be chasing them all night long.
Idea 4 — The Incredibles
Jack Jack, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Violet and Syndrome. It seems like this would be super fun to try.
Idea 5 — Emojis
Smiley, kissy face, hearts, anger, silly and the poop emoji. Sometimes being unique gives you and edge. I think making these costumes with the kids would be such an amazing family project!
Alright guys, which one do you think we should do for this year's family costume?
Leave me a comment and let me know.
On October 21st we will announce the winning idea and I will create an article showing our family wearing the costumes!
Such an exciting idea!
(Remember: If any new ideas are posted within the comments, I will update the post and add that idea to the current list!)
