College Isn't Easy

Being in college has been more of a task than I originally thought. Probably because I have been doing so much in so little time.

Since beginning classes in September 2022, I have finished 36 credits of 120. At this rate, I’m due to gain my bachelors in September of this year. Authors College credit history and GPAI don’t present that information to you to toot my own horn… Just wanted to give a glimpse as to why I state college has been coming a bit difficult to me.

To be honest, I am most concerned about my Calculus class coming next week. I’ve never been the greatest when it came to math… I feel like it’s going to be rather difficult. I see long nights with coffee and new notebooks in my future. (If you have taken a calculus course in the past and have any insights, I’m all ears.)

Other than that, my classes have been fairly simple on their own. What’s making my process difficult is taking 3 to 5 classes every 5 weeks. Most people suggest I slow down a bit, which in all fairness, would be the easiest option. However, if I slow down… then I may not reach my graduation goal. I want to ensure that I receive my bachelors in the time I originally planned so that I am able to begin my master's courses before the end of the year.

For those who don’t read my work often, my goal is to have my Bachelor’s, my master's and my PhD by 2027.

Ambitious, yes… but not impossible.

I feel that getting these degrees will allow me to move quickly with growing my home businesses. After all, my overall goal is to work by myself… for myself.

I feel severely drained working to make rich people richer. It’s time I take life by the horns and do things my way. It may take me a few years to get there but one day, you will be reading my work in a whole different light.

That or I’ll crash and burn royally.

But for now, we’ll be optimistic.

🧡Shine Bright, Kayla
